Now We’re Speaking the Same Language October 7, 2009

WARNING: This post will deal with Times of Marital Closeness. This means, MOM, that some of you need to stop reading.

We were having a discussion last night about our lack of TMC (thanks again, Rachel, for that term.) Mr. Aggie has had a hard time understanding my blase attitude toward it (post-baby) no matter how many times I’ve tried to explain it. Until now.

Me: You know how you feel about helping me get A ready in the morning?

Him: You mean, I don’t mind it but I’d rather sleep?

Me: EXACTLY.

Me: Hey, this gives me an idea. We’ll make them equal, you know, as in frequency.

Him: I dunno…I’d like the TMC once a week at least.

Me: I’d like help with A once a week at least.

Him: I wonder if I could make it if it was just once a month…I really like TMC, but I really like sleep, too.

Me: Amen.
