1. Andrew is sleeping like a champ. We’re still working out the kinks with the night wakings, but for his last 24 hours worth of sleep he has gone down in his crib without a peep. No crying, no fussing, no patting, no singing. Just a thanks-don’t-let-the-door-hit-you-on-the-way-out snoozefest. He’s also napping just like Dr. Ferber wants him to. (For the record, we haven’t Ferberized him yet. He hasn’t needed it and hopefully he won’t. We are using Ferber’s suggestions for decreasing nightwakings that come from habitual night feedings, which do not require crying it out.) I’m so, so thankful.
2. Mr. Aggie’s team at work met their goals so he gets to come home an hour early. This means I won’t be late to Mom’s Night Out as I feared. I abhor tardiness.
3. Did I mention my kid sleeps?
4. Andrew laughs–really, truly laughs–when I crouch out of sight by his exersaucer or high chair then bounce up and say “Boo!” It has provided hours of mindless entertainment for both of us.
5. I have a fabulous baby.

I know, right?
